The Village Picnic and Duck Race at the Dovecote has now been rearranged to take place on Sunday 13th August 2023.

The Duck Racing will begin at 2 pm, with ‘Ducks’ being available to back on the day for £3 each. Bring your own food and drinks from early afternoon. There will be ice cream and ‘Fruit Cup’ available to buy on the day – along with a range of desirable Dovecote Merchandise.

Supporters who have in the past either been ‘Friends’ of the Naunton Dovecote or who have made donations of over £50 are entitled to sponsor a nesthole in the Dovecote.

We are keen for people to take this up and also to make an Entry in the Great Dovecote Book to record their donation and maybe dedicate their nesthole to another person/pet etc. so on the day we would like to hear from folk who are interested in doing this.

Lots of fun to be had at the Dovecote picnic and Duck race. All villagers and Dovecote Supporters are very welcome.
