‘It’s an ill wind that blows nobody any good’ and so it is with the Coronavirus Lockdown, which has given Stuart Corbyn, Chris Goll and myself no excuse not to sit down, do the work and set up this new Website.

Many thanks to Stuart for spending many hours researching and collating as much information as we are able to find about the history of our Dovecote.  There is unfortunately nothing recorded in writing directly about the Dovecote, but thanks to the many photographs gathered together by David Hanks of ‘Cotswold Images’ and knowledge supplied by John McCann and Martin Watts (see his Report in our History section) together with information about the Manor gleaned from public archives and local knowledge, we have been able to put together the information contained in our History section.

Also many thanks to Chris for technical knowhow and the implementation of our web site.
